Seward
A beautiful little down with an ice free port and starting point for the Alaska rail road. In addition to this, it is a port of call for Royal Carribean Cruiselines.
BOAT PIC
Tourquoise ocean water is bordered by snow capped glacier mountains. A truly beautiful small town that has only about a dozen streets with small specialty shops and a few small taverns.
Seward is the most tourist friendly town we have ever seen, with camping for tents and RV's along much of its beautiful ocean front. Rates started at only $10 per night for dry camping with an RV!
Seward is also the starting point of the 1,000 mile plus Iditarod dog sled race that follows the old mail route to many old Alaskan towns.
